The Vocal School Showcase 2019 Showcase

          At the end of each FISD school year in May, The Vocal School (TVS) puts on a performance displaying individual singing talents from each of its student performers.  Some would call the evening a recital and others a showcase. TVS owner, Corley Randolph prefers to call it an analysis of students' ability to illustrate preceding years performance techniques and character building strengths given to those students during its prior year. Randolph's inevitable future vision for the event is for it to operate similarly to a recording industry showcase,  a sector Randolph is all too familiar. The complete vision is for the performance is to become the one place for local directors, teachers and artists to experience the areas more serious future performers. All performers listed within the article                   On March 9, the Vocal School (TVS) completed its first partnership with The Prosper's Dream Dance Center (DDC; opened 2017) . The stage was set for an energized afternoon when two of the best performance-schools in North Texas came together to create a new experience for their students.        Corley Randolph, owner of TVS reached out to DDC's owner Abbie Rich early January 2019 asking for the collaboration. Confident that their friendship would withstand the short notice, Randolph decided to connect with Rich who he considers a dance savant and someone he knew would deliver excellence to the venture.       Select students from TVS performed with like-peer age-group dancers after two coordinated rehearsals at the DDC's Prosper location.
