On March 9, the Vocal School (TVS) completed its first partnership with The Prosper's Dream Dance Center (DDC; opened 2017). The stage was set for an energized afternoon when two of the best performance-schools in North Texas came together to create a new experience for their students.

Corley Randolph, owner of TVS reached out to DDC's owner Abbie Rich early January 2019 asking for the collaboration. Confident that their friendship would withstand the short notice, Randolph decided to connect with Rich who he considers a dance savant and someone he knew would deliver excellence to the venture.

Select students from TVS performed with like-peer age-group dancers after two coordinated rehearsals at the DDC's Prosper location.
"It was an awesome day...", Rich said after the show was over. An equally excited Randolph when asked how the show went said excitedly "I've never had this group partner and work so closely with an outside organization before. I learned a lot from the experience and look forward to doing it again."

It's no secret that the ever-evolving vocal profession requires today’s performers to sing, act, dance, analyze text, take on roles with significant physical demands, as well as interact with peers, directors, and colleagues. There's much to say about a small performance school run by one man who addresses such a direction head-on with no apologies and no endowment. North Texas is looking forward to seeing more from Randolph, TVS and its students in the coming months ahead.
